I sent Jeff a text message last night telling him Happy Birthday and that I loved him. I didn't realize, however, that the caller ID wouldn't show my name—he sent a reply a minute later: "Who is this?" He must have wondered which lady friend was professing her love.
I was so sorry to disappoint him that it was only Aunt Lindy.
Jeff, we have your birthday present for when you come up to the MTC. . .you know it's inevitable, don't you, that 98% of your 19th birthday gifts are mission-related? You'll be here in just 6 short weeks or so. We hope your school semester ended well, and that you're busily preparing for your mission service. We can't wait to see you!
