St. Johns took state this afternoon in an overtime win against Arizona Luthern. The game was at UofA in Tucson. We (RV) should have been there playing Show Low, but Coolidge lucked out last week.
Last week St. Johns defeated Valley Christan - who is coached by Morgan's brother. Steve Anderson told me that after half-time Tyson came over and told him to "call the dogs off." Apparently Colten attends and probably even plays for them. We were at Uncle Tim & Aunt Vangie's retirement party as the game was played and were updated on the game every 15 minutes. You can imagine Aunt Karma's cheer when they announced they had won.

Thanks for the update Am. Way to go SJ. Too bad Mom wasn't there to whoop it up with Aunt Karma! They love it that St. Johns won. All those years of serving in the trenches sort of endeared the place to them.
