Max meets Tevi

The thing that cracked me up the most about this picture was that Max put his hand in Tevi's hair. Ame kept telling me afterwards that Max was mean. Lindy asked her why she said that and she replied, "Because he pulled Tevi's hair!" She didn't forget it the rest of the night. The next day, Ame made a new friend - she gave Max some of her starburst. It took me awhile to figure out why Max was licking his lips and getting overly excited when he saw her.



Max experiences real whiskers for the first time. He couldn't get over Uncle Aki's scruff. Aki couldn't get over Max's chub.


I love Tevi's soft, crazy hair. He also has a little dimple.


Ame is such a good big sister, you just have to keep your eye on her!




Tevi's first bath was a Funaki family affair. It was so much fun to be watching all of this. Tevi was a real trooper despite being washed by eight different hands! He might not get as big as Max but he sure will be tougher than him.


Ame and Makai got to talk to Uncle Brig. Ame stayed up later to wait for him, but he didn't get home soon enough, so at 7:00 the next morning, she came in and said, "Aunt Shayla, we have to go see if Brigham is on!" We did, and luckily he was! The only problem was that Ame was too scared to talk to him so he never got to see her, the little rascal.
